School of the Spirit

January 1, 2022

The definition of tribe is “any group of people, large or small, which are connected to one another, a leader, and an idea.” We belong to a tribe defined by its belief system. In this tribe we call the Assemblies of God, we embrace a set of beliefs that is at its core—the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that accompany it. This is our identity! Yes, we believe in the core doctrines of this fellowship: Salvation, Divine Healing, the Second Coming, and uniquely important—the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This is a unique family of faith that embraces the New Testament paradigm of Spirit-Empowerment. I deeply believe the path out of the pandemic fog is through biblical clarity and identity. The New Testament Church is clearly a Spirit-empowered church, and it has navigated itself through the centuries of wars, pestilence, disease, and famine. The church only becomes subject to its environment when it compromises its identity.

We must “hit reset” if we are presently functioning in the New Testament paradigm of doing ministry through divine empowerment. When the church operates in the natural realm it loses its supernatural ability to change the community and effect change in the lives of those that need the Gospel.
I want to challenge and encourage you to step into God’s intended future for you and your ministry as we arrive in 2022 through embracing your biblical identity and walking in divine clarity. The Apostle said in Acts 2, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.”
Navigating during these “last days” requires supernatural wisdom, insight and power to impact a culture that has lost its way. I sense the Lord has instructed me to offer a setting that will offer fresh insight on the New Testament paradigm of doing ministry through Spirit-empowerment. Join us at AMNAG’s School of the Spirit at Saraland First AG, Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Email at to register. The cost is $10 per person to help cover the expense of lunch.
Let’s be the church that we were destined to be in 2022!
