In just a few short weeks our Alabama District Council will convene at Knollwood Church in Mobile. Pastor Joe Lee has graciously consented to host Council this year. We are looking forward to this event with great anticipation and expectation. Our theme for this council is, “We Are Family!”

We will gather April 22-24, 2019 for our 104th District Council. The speaker for Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening will be Pastor Doug Clay, General Superintendent for the Assemblies of God. The District Leadership Team is expecting the Lord to meet with us in our services to bring a spiritual refreshing as well as supernatural encouragement and vision. Pastor Clay is an amazing and abundantly anointed speaker. You will NOT want to miss this family gathering.

In addition to our guest speaker, one of our Alabama missionaries, Larry Henderson, will bring a missions challenge to us during the Missions Banquet. On Tuesday morning, Mike Allard, Lead Pastor at Crossroads Fellowship in Houston, Texas will be sharing with us during the Missions Service. He has a passionate heart for missions. You will not want to miss this service.

Please mark these dates on your calendar and plan to be in attendance for District Council. I am requesting that the churches underwrite the expenses of their senior pastors, staff pastors and delegates to the Council, as they represent the church’s interest in the Alabama District.

Hotel information for the Mobile area is included in a link at the bottom of the page. I recommend that you register early in order to secure the hotel of your choice.

Join us in prayer for God’s favor and direction on the events of our 2019 District Council. I look forward to seeing you there.

Let’s change the world,

Ken Draughon
