2018 Children’s Leaders Retreat

Wednesday–Saturday, January 17–20, 
Pigeon Forge, TN

We’ve invited all Children’s Pastors and Children’s Ministry Leaders from across the state to our 2018 Children’s Leaders Retreat. We are at Spirit of the Smokies Lodge again, and they are honoring the group room rate for the whole week! ($36.98/per night Sun-Thur; $53.83/Fri-Sat night, tax included). Several attendees brought their families or friends as guests to watch the kids during the Retreat sessions. This year we have one of the smaller meeting rooms adjacent to our large meeting room reserved as a children’s activity room for your kids.

All CLR participants and guests get our group room rates and Friday night dinner show rates. AND, the lodge's water slide, heated indoor pool, and heated indoor kiddie pool are free and available to all!  The lodge's large game room is also available to all.   We’ll have a great time of rest and refreshing. Our theme remains “In This Together.” We’re building deeper relationships for life and ministry. There’ll be casual dress, fun & games, informal meetings, refreshing fellowship, worship, teaching, resource previews, idea exchange, and networking.

All Christmas lights and décor will still be up, and the after-Christmas sales will be going on, including at the outlet malls! Some will visit Cades Cove and drive through the mountains, others will visit Biltmore, go snow tubing, skiing, ice skating at Ober Gatlinburg, or visiting the shops, restaurants, and rides at The Island or Gatlinburg.

Whether you are a full-time or bi-vocational Children’s Pastor, or a volunteer leading your church’s Children’s Ministry, you are invited! Registration and reservations are open. For accurate counts and preparations, we must have you register with the C.E. office, AND reserve your own room(s) with the Lodge.

Thursday PM 9:00-10:00+ - End of Day Fellowship, snacks, games, Q&A, Lifestory, Encouraging Word, prayer

Friday AM & Afternoon – Relationship building … Free Time / Networking Time

Friday PM 6:00-8:00 – Group Dinner and Show

Saturday AM – Breakfast Fellowships as you choose, departure

Meals: Friday 6:00pm – Meal & Show (Dixie Stampede) – Included in registration fee

Registration Fee: $75.00 per person (includes the Friday PM Dixie Stampede)
($50.00 due at pre-registration as a non-refundable deposit, balance due on arrival.)

If you bring adult or children guests who do not register for, or participate in, the CLR sessions, we can still purchase their Friday night Dixie Stampede tickets at our group rate if they are properly included in your pre-registration form, and we receive per person their Dixie Stampede fee of $46.45 per adult, $39.83 ages 12-17, and $29.90 ages 4-11, before 01/05/18. Adult and children guest fees are non-refundable after that date (01/05/18).
