I trust that you had a wonderful holiday season, and now you are ready for all God has for you in 2012. As I look back on 2011, I am amazed at all that God, in His faithfulness, has done for us. It is in faithful anticipation I am ready to partner with Him for this New Year.

The year 2012 is a land not yet possessed. You remember how the Book of Joshua begins: “Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it” (Josh. 1:11). The word possess means to occupy by driving out those that are presently living there. God has given us territory that is already occupied by those who God does not intend to leave there, but we must move by faith to dis-occupy them. There are demonic strongholds and earthy philosophies that are attempting to keep us from “occupying” what God intends for us to have through His promises.

Let me encourage you as the Lord did to Joshua in verse 9, “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” He is with you even though everything visible or in the natural doesn’t line up with that declaration. That is the definition of FAITH (evidence of things NOT seen). Walk in FAITH!

Now back to the discussion of 2012: The number 12 has an interesting place in Biblical usage. There were 12 tribes of Israel, 12 Apostles, 12 foundations in the heavenly Jerusalem, 12 gates, 12 pearls, and 12 angels. The measurements of New Jerusalem are 12,000 furlongs or stadia, while the wall will be 144 (12 x 12) cubits. Jesus was twelve years old when he went up to the temple for his second visit. There are twelve nations that will be on the earth, and they will determine when the nations are to go to Jerusalem to worship.

This Biblical Meaning of Number 12, from my understanding, normally deals with placing things within perfect order or achieving governmental structural perfection. Now, I’m not sure if that speaks to us that in 2012 America will see this happen in our Presidential election and see perfected government, but we can pray. The number 12 speaks of setting things in proper order.

I am asking God to make this New Year a year of completion; believing that dreams and visions will come to fruition. If you are seeking God to bring dreams, visions, and prophecies to COMPLETION, please email me, and I’ll pray in agreement with you for the fruition of these things in your ministry. We are asking for Godly order.

Again, “Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” I really believe there are great things in store for this upcoming year. I want to challenge you to lean into your God–intended future. We have wrestled with the reversed economic situation, but at no time has God cancelled His plan for us or “cut back” on His expectation of our role in the Great Commission. We are in our finest days—not because of the affluence of a generation or age—but, because of the determination and faith of a generation of leaders that will NOT be dissuaded from the course they have been called to walk nor compromise from the resolve that if God be for them, who can be against us.
